2023 Convening Report

In June 2023, Springboard invited 20 students and educators to gather at Seguinland Institute on Georgetown Island, Maine to consider how we might establish, solidify, grow, and make visible deeply transformative learning options. The students were clear and stated: “We are reimagining our educational journeys to be Community-Oriented, Place-Based, Meaning-Centered, and Intellectually and Physically Engaging.” This Report outlines what transpired at the Convening, and first steps we can take toward making the students’ reimagining a reality.
